Method

  1. Microwave taro and 100ml Water in UltraPro on high for 10 mins.

  2. Transfer cooked taro cubes into Extra Chef. Add in butter and sugar. Blitz taro into thick puree.

  3. Add in coconut milk, vanilla extract and egg. Give another few pull to ensure all ingredients are well blended together.

  4. Mix Glutinous Rice Flour and Baking Powder together in That’s-A-Bowl (3L).

  5. Pour puree onto the flour mixture. Mix both dry and wet ingredients together using spatula till combined.

  6. Spray a layer of oil on UltraPro 800ml Cover. Pour the mixture on it, and spray another layer of oil on top of the mixture.

  7. Bake mochi cake in the pre-heated oven at 180 Degree Celsius for 1 hour.
