  1. Remove Fuzzy Melon Skin, cut into 4 equal portions, and remove the core. Remove Skin from Chicken Thigh. Cut into chunks.

  2. Mince Chicken Thigh and Mushrooms, in Fusion Master Mincer. Mix well with Minced Ginger, Mushroom Water, Soy Sauce, Corn Starch, Sugar, Salt & Pepper.

  3. Divide meat mixture into 4 portions. Stuff meat mixture into individual Fuzzy Melon and shape it nicely.

  4. Arrange Stuffed Fuzzy Melon on a dishplate that fits into Steam-It. To prepare the sauce, heat up Chicken stock, ginger, spring onions, wine and sesame oil. Let it simmer for awhile to bring out the flavor of the ginger and spring onions. Thickened the sauce with Corn Starch water. Pour sauce over Fuzzy Melon.

  5. Steam Fuzzy melon in Steam-It for 18 to 20mins, depending on the size of your Fuzzy Melon.

  6. Garnish with some spring onions and wolfberries and serve hot.


  • Ingredients for Fuzzy Melon :
  • 1 small Fuzzy Melon
  • 150 g Boneless Chicken Thigh
  • 1 Chinese Mushroom, soaked
  • 1 tbsp Water from soaking Mushroom
  • 1/2 tsp Minced Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 Pepper
  • 1/2 Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • For the Sauce :
  • 200 ml Chicken Stock
  • 2 slices Ginger
  • 1 sprig Spring Onions
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese Wine
  • 1/4 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch
  • For Garnishing :
  • Some Spring Onions
  • Some Wolfberries
