Instructions

Method

  1. Chop Onion till fine in Extra Chef. Repeat the same for Potatoes and Mushrooms, but do this separately.

  2. Add 20g Butter and chopped onions into UltraPro 2.0L, cover with UltraPro 800ml, microwave for 2 mins.

  3. Add chopped potatoes, mushrooms, thymes and water into the microwaved onions. Stir well, covered and microwave for 10mins.

  4. Remove thymes from the soup. Carefully pour soup onto Extra Chef, give it a few vigorous pull to smoothen the soup’s texture.

  5. Pour the soup back to UltraPro 2.0L, add whipping cream, salt, pepper, mushroom seasoning, stir well, covered and microwave for another 5 to 6mins.

  6. Remove soup from microwave, drop 10g butter into the hot soup, stir and give the soup a good overall gloss. For better results, let the soup sit for 10mins before serving.

  7. Serving suggestions : Do change the mushrooms according to individual preference. But the total mushrooms should not be lesser than 250g.

  • 1 tsp Salt, or adjust accordingly
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp Mushroom Seasoning
  • 450 ml Water
  • 120 ml Whipping Cream
  • 1 sprig Fresh Thyme
