Crispy Fried Shallots
500 g shallots
1 tbsp salt
1-2 tbsp rice flour
Enough water for soaking
Enough oil for frying
Slice shallots with Speedy Mando. The shallots are sliced with Speedy Mando to ensure evenly thin slices and even cooking every time.
Add salt into water and briefly soak the sliced shallots.
Drain and let it dry.
Mix rice flour and shallots until well combined.
Heat oil in the Inspire Wok / Black Series Fry Pan 28cm.
Once the oil is heated, fry shallots until golden brown.
Lift out and drain oil.
