Instructions

Method

  1. Uncover the Bread Dough that is already gone through overnight proofing. Pour the dough onto a floured worktop. Lightly shape the dough into a ball, divide the dough into 3 portions. Add some flour to prevent sticking.

  2. Roll out 3 individual portion of dough into 3 even sized round shape. Spread generous amount of Nutella Spread inbetween the dough to create a nice 3 layer sandwich.

  3. Trim the side of the round sandwiched dough to ensure the whole dough is in nice round shape. A big bowl can be placed on top before trimming to serve as a good guide to achieve good round shape. Keep the trimmings for later use.

  4. Put croissant maker (16 cuts) on top of the bread dough, gently press it down to create 16 triangle cuts marker.

  5. Use a small glass to mark a round shape in the middle of the dough. Cut the dough with knife according to the 16 triangle marker.

  6. Take two parts of the cake in both hands and delicately twist them in opposite directions. Repeat with all pairs to form eight-armed star. Twist the ends of each arm underneath to create a neat finishing round shape.

  7. Proof the bread for 1 hour and apply egg wash.

  8. Bake Nutella Bread at 190 Degree Celsius pre-heated oven for 25mins or until the bread is nicely browned.
