Instructions

Method

  1. Wash and soak glutinous rice overnight, drained.

  2. Mix drained rice with coconut milk, salt and sugar.

  3. Cut banana leaf in round shape and fits into Steam-It. Put glutinous rice on top of the banana leaf.

  4. Steam the glutinous rice for 30 to 40 mins. Open the lid and splash some water over the glutinous rice in every 10 mins interval.

  5. Grind Galangal, Ginger, Lemongrass, Shallots, Garlic and Dried Chilli using Turbo Chopper. Add some water to achieve finer paste texture.

  6. Heat up 1L water with Inspire Saucepan. Cook beef cubes meat thoroughly and drain.

  7. Mince cooked beef cubes in Fusion Master Mincer.

  8. Saute grinded paste in Inspire Fryer until fragrant and well cooked.

  9. Add in Coriander Powder, Fennel Powder, and Coconut Milk. Mix well and cook until the paste exudes oil.

  10. Add tamarind Juice, Palm Sugar, Sugar, Salt. Give it a good mix before adding the beef floss.

  11. Toss the minced beef and cook until it is dry enough. Oil can be added during tossing process if desired.

  12. To serve : Put generous amount of Serunding on the base of Magic Tower. Top with a portion of Coconut Glutinous Rice. Press the glutinous rice and ensure it is well compact with Serunding at the bottom. Flip over the magic Tower on a plate. Serve
