Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken, quartered
  • 5 red onions
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 5 stalks lemongrass
  • 5 stalks lemongrass
  • 2 inches ginger
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 - 1.5 liter water
  • Oil for frying
Method
  1. Place red onion, garlic and ginger together and blend finely using Turbo Chopper.
  2. Next, finely grind the lemongrass.
  3. Combine blended ingredients together with soy sauce, lemongrass, turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Place chicken into TupperChef® Pressure Cooker.
  5. Pour in water, close the lid and switch the pressure to number 2 for the first 45 minutes.
  6. Lower the pressure to number 1 for the last 15 minutes.
  7. Allow the pressure to decrease before opening the lid
  8. Drain the chicken and leave aside until the chicken is dry.
  9. Heat up the Inspire Wok / Pan till the oil is hot.
  10. Fry the chicken until cooked through.
  11. Lastly, fry the mixture, and sprinkle on top of the chicken.
